Early Explorations in Encinitas/Carlsbad provides a year round program. Early Explorations opened their doors at this location in 1990.
The primary goal at Early Explorations is to guide the child's natural curiosity by providing an environment she/he will find to be both exciting and caring. The curriculum is designed with the developmental needs of each age group in mind. Our teachers will help your child to playfully interact with a variety of learning materials, as well as with an equally exciting group of peers. Each of the six contained classrooms is equipped with several learning centers specifically designed and equipped for children 2 to 5 years old.
A variety of flexible programs are available to meet the needs of both parents and children:
| Full day programs for children aged 2 years to 5 years. (6:30 A.M. - 6:00 P.M.) | |
| Half-day programs (8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon) for children aged 3 years to 5 years, includes lunch. | |
| Half-day programs (12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.) for children 4 years to 5 years. |
Inquire about our ¾ day for pre-K children.
Parents may choose to have their child attend five, four, three or two days per week.
Lori Pettine is the director of the Encinitas Early Explorations preschool. She has directed a quality program for 16 years. She and her family have lived in the community for several years. The preschool director works closely with the neighborhood schools so the children are ready for their next school experience.
