About Us

Combining their 25 years of experience in child care, Ken and Carol Krysko built their own preschools in 1989. The first Early Explorations opened in 1990 and the other two followed. The list below applies to all three centers. Early Explorations continues to be one of the best child care centers in America.

	Early Explorations is licensed by the State of California.
	Early Explorations is locally owned.
	The National Association for the Education of Young Children accredits Early Explorations.
	All teachers continue their education and training with professional development and join a mentor teaching program.
	Early Explorations enjoys low staff turnover and a low child-teacher ratio.
	Each of our three locations has a large well-equipped playground
	The six self-contained classrooms, in each school, have the learning centers equipped for the appropriate age group. A child's work is his play!
	Tuition includes all materials, a music program, nutritious lunches and snacks prepared daily in our on-site kitchens.
	During each enrollment year, parents may use two weeks (at no tuition expense) for illness and/or vacation.

All Early Explorations locations have a full day program, 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Full-day children may attend as many hours per day as parents need. Check the individual school location descriptions for their specific half-day programs, school age program and summer camp program.

Communication with parents is the key element in the success of the child's preschool experience. A calendar of parent events, a handbook, newsletters, weekly lesson plans, and daily posted messages are other ways that keep parents informed. Parents are welcome to visit the school at any time. Early Explorations is committed to knowing the family, which makes us partners in the child's first learning experience.
